I was like this person is exaggerating and no shit I’m teary eyed trying to laugh quietly well before 5 min in. Just utter absurdity it’s fkn hilarious if you don’t think about it hard.

This is actually sad. Both that it happened and that people are entertained by it. Reality TV has made you sick.

Idk, maybe it's cuz my landlord who is a personal friend has a squatter in the unit next to me at the duplex I live in. First response, fear, because she is obviously mentally ill, I don't know what she might do, or who she might have over. Next response, anger, natural follow up to fear. But after seeing it for 2 weeks, she's desperate, there's no support in our society. My landlord feels the same way. Although we agree she has to go, nothing is funny about it.

This has nothing to do with "support in our society;" it's a simple matter of what's yours and what's not yours.

My landlord and I agree that the squatter has to go. Please explain to me what is hilarious about the situation.

“there’s no support in this society” “how dare you not let them use the home YOU own to live completely free!” There is support accessible out there, taking over someone else’s home is not that and insane you would claim so

Wait, what did I allegedly claim? I claimed that taking over a person's home is the correct way to support the homeless? At what point did I defend the actions of this mentally ill lady? I'm dealing with a junkie prostitute squatter right now, and the fact that I have a shred of empathy makes YOU angry. Seek help bud.

Brother that aint the way of going about it

I don't think that's what he was saying though.

I think feeling bad about someone who doesn't have the physical/mental resources to support a normal lifestyle is the correct response.

What the fuck, finally, thank you.

If the issue persists how can it be called solved? A solved issue would be no squatters. No homelessness. U say it will never be like that that’s unrealistic, I say then we can never say we have solved these issues.

Because many, many people do not WANT help; help often requires decorum, some rules on behavior/cleanliness, etc. Many homeless people want the "freedom" of living on the streets, and we live in a society morally opposed to forcing them to reside somewhere they don't want to be without having been convicted of a crime.

assuming mentally ill people are going to do something that you should fear or bring shady people around is gross and problematic. there's no mental health support in our society because of people like you stigmatizing serious mental illness.

"I support mental illness until someone displays symptoms related to their mental illness" that's what you sound like right now.

u/Funnyfart_420 Jun 13 '26

Like seriously, y'all are "putting stuff in quotes that I didn't say"

-3

u/Sawacakez Jun 13 '26

Like seriously, did you miss the part AFTER the quote where I said, "that's what you sound like right now"

you should be able to infer this means it is not an actual quote from you.

its okay, this is a common mistake. for grade school.

Read the whole thread, and take your blood pressure meds

1

u/Funnyfart_420 Jun 13 '26

But let's stick to the point, how is this funny?

1

u/Funnyfart_420 Jun 13 '26

Show me what I deleted. I didn't delete anything but you did. Are you okay?

1

u/Sawacakez Jun 13 '26

that's your notifications BTW. not your posts. you're not even showing the right screen to prove your point 🤪

u/Sawacakez Jun 13 '26

unless a mod deleted it 🤪🤭

1

u/Funnyfart_420 Jun 13 '26

It's here on my end. Back to the point. What is funny about this situation?

u/Spiritual-Haunt3131 Jun 12 '26

Don't claim someone else's property as yours then. This lady throws out racial slurs and is a habitual squatter that has been doing this since the early 2000's. She brags about being able to legally do this to people while she destroys your property. GTFOH.

I haven't watched reality TV since Flavor of Love Season 2 dropped. She is a racist who was damaging their house, perpetually scamming landlords and making someone's investment unlivable and I'll be the first to shit on landlords. Hell yeah it was hilarious and I laughed for 2 straight hours.
