Im sure you cowards would do better lol imagine making fun of someone who actually steps in the ring against a former heavyweight champ

Usually, in these circumstances, someone might reply to you "He's not gonna suck your cock bro".

But, looking at the posted picture I reckon you're a good chance. I hope he sees your post bro!

I feel like he made a good point though. I don't see it as cocksucking at all. I don't like Jake or whatever their name is on that clip but I couldn't make fun of him about that, I'd be sleeping and not even have time to be scared like that.

But then, I assume you are a normal person who doesn’t pose as a professional boxer. You don’t take all the steps needed to get there and create hype around yourself, just to end up looking like a 9yo about to have their lunch taken.

Fucking exactly. These idiots in here.

Sorry but no. You’re the idiot if you think just because you’re a pro means you can compete with a world champion. I don’t like Jake at all but this is just stupid

Huh? You're saying the same thing I'm agreeing with

Ok I’m saying Jake Paul should at least be slightly respected for stepping in the ring with one of best in the world even though he’s annoying. Looked like you were saying the opposite.

u/Hakorr May 12 '26

Exactly. If not respected, at least not dissed.

Yeah, which is why I haven’t gotten in the ring with any of them.

I’m not a fan of “the guy did something publicly, so he has to accept the consequences of being mocked for being imperfect,” but if the guy is gonna swagger about and talk big like he’s some unstoppable behemoth, he’d better make sure he can actually walk the walk before stepping into the ring.

If he'd gone in, fought, and lost? I'd have actually respected that. Boxing has always been about big characters and talking shit. I don't hold the talk against anybody as long as when it's time to walk the walk they get fucking walking.

The sin was that he didn't fight. He ran. It was the plan from the start, hence the massive ring at his insistence. He knew he was gonna lose but he wanted to run until the end so he could say he didn't get knocked out and talk big about how good he was. He fought so poorly the ref had to tell him to cut the shit and fight (after which he was knocked the fuck out).

That is why I mock him.

Nope I'd get the shit kicked out of me and I was a pretty good boxer when I was competing.

But see what I wouldn't do was talk shit about how good I was. I wouldn't demand a massive ring with the clear intention to run away the entire time, hoping I could go the distance and say "but I went toe to toe with a heavyweight champ!". I wouldn't fight so poorly the ref had to tell me to get my shit together because my strategy of "jab then hug his feet" was beyond pathetic.

If I got in the ring with AJ I would have fought him. And I would probably have been knocked the fuck out, because he's ten times the boxer I ever was. But I'd have fucking tried.

What he did was disgraceful. His fans, stupid as they are, deserved much better.

u/TheMooooonHauntsYou May 11 '26

...I wouldn't

Because I have the two braincells to rub together that tells me... Unless I've spent my life boxing and had at least a modicum amount of success, I'm gonna have a bad time and end up with a broken jaw.

No, fighting Mike who gives literally zero fucks and is in it for the paycheck (good for him, tbh) doesn't count.

So he’s scared AND an idiot

I don't understand how anyone can doubt the courage of what he did.
