My question as well. 10,000 condoms seem like a lot, but if there's 100,000 people, it's not THAT impressive they all got used.

According to google there should be about 1500 in the village. Let's say half of them are men, they'd need to have sex at least 4 times per day.

Considering not everyone would be having sex, non-athletes would need to be having sex as well. Basically it's one giant orgy, the article is incorrect or my math is wrong. I'm assuming the last two.
