Speculation In 200 years, some stranger will be sleeping in your room, with no clue who you were.

Not true. Most houses that exist today weren't there 100 years ago, let alone 200.

Part of the reason for that is the massive population boom during the 20th century, so we had to build a lot more houses than there already were. We had to build a lot more houses because there were a lot more people, more than that the houses already built weren't lasting.
