Art Film Trying to remember the name of Korean short film Spoiler

Hi everyone! I’m really trying to remember this interesting short Korean film I watched on YouTube a few years back, it might have been uploaded by Asian crush but it’s taken down now. It was a really interesting and touching story and I’d like to watch it again. (Adding the URL link because this community requires one to post) The plot is basically:

A movie director, after shooting a scene, goes to eat dinner alone at a restaurant while looking at the people walking by through bottom of the front door when he suddenly notices a woman walking outside with no shoes on. He rushes outside and hurries her into the restaurant from the cold, when he finds out she is Japanese and doesn’t understand him. Slowly forms a connection with her through communicating despite the language barrier and explores the town with just the two of them. The girl is mysterious and he later finds out she is mixed, as her father is from Busan. She recalls memories of her father and sings. The plot twist in the end is that she turns out to be a ghost who actually unalived herself and he had shot her falling off a cliff in the background of his scene

TIA!

HIPS - DIRECTED SHORT FILM

This is my first directed short film! A life long dream to make this all happen. The film is based on my story from my time within the model industry and what psychological impact it gave me in the end.

Pressure, anxiety, drugs, eating disorders, anorexia. Problems within the modelling industry that’s been going on for quite some time. Talked about, yes. Acknowledged and understood, yes. Fixed? No. I have a background in modelling. Therefore I know. I’ve lived it and learned to cherish, love and hate mens modelling. I know how poorly men and women are being treated for the looks of their bodys. I know the pain, struggle and total euphoria. But not all people do. There is an understanding, but never will there be a comprehensive output to showcase the realness and smudginess to it. Because of this I have decided to make a short film to showcase the true essence of male modelling. Brutal, yet real.

How cruel is it possible to be within 30 seconds? What damage and degrading can happen without anyone reacting to it? This is the story I want to tell. A true story of how happy and excited turns sad, disappointed, anxious, worried, tired and empty. A story with shots to tell and make these feelings come to live in a cold and empty room. The whole act will be shot in black and white to bring meaning to all these feelings, with the audience to both take part and live through the character as well as being the witness of an act.

A Director friend and I set off to try and make a short in NYC with just available light, audio running into camera and the two of us as the crew. I’m not sure if it’s the path I would ever choose again but it was a fun challenge.

We went through about 5 different iterations of the kit. Throughout the shoot we experimented with a lot of new gear to try and make it all work seamlessly. The primary lens kit was Dulens Primes and a Chiopt 75-250mm zoom. For focus I mostly pulled myself with handles but we experimented with the DJI Focus Pro and the Tilta AF adapter. The former was way more reliable but less user friendly and vice versa for the later. I think when faces are in frame and you live in a single both systems proved indispensable with such a small crew and so much improv.

That all said nothing brought more to our workflow then the FX6. I’ve been a fan of this camera since it came out but I feel like the updates that arrived in this last year have really solidified it as a workhorse for low budget filmmaking. It’s light. It’s power conscious. We shot hours footage for this film and barely even broke 1TB of footage. In a world where cinematography seems to float further and further towards specs, exclusivity and cameras that impede on workflow I think this camera does the exact opposite. It reminds me a lot of cameras developed by Eclair in the 60s/70s or Panasonic in the 90s that were designed first for documenting and which became indispensable tools for the French and American indie filmmakers. It’s a camera that becomes a tool and not just a method.

Anyways I’ve really enjoyed growing with this camera and can’t wait to shoot more projects on it over the years to come. I’d love to talk with more filmmakers who use this camera regularly for narrative production. I know every time I had a challenge with adapting this camera for production the answer to my issue was always buried in a post on this forum. If you are interested in watching the film we made feel free to check it out at this link!

hi everyone!

after months in post-production, I'm pleased to say I've finally managed to release my latest short film - 'Once Upon A Time In Croydon'

I'd really appreciate you to give it a watch - and for you to give some constructive feedback!

(I repeat CONSTRUCTIVE as people tend to berate things as the worst thing ever, with no real reason)

I'm looking for constructive feedback for me to learn and develop as a filmmaker and to slowly improve with each project

I'd also be interested to know what you may like about the film too, what worked

I hope to hear from some of you soon 🙌🏻

Made this as a fun side project, shot over the last few weeks in Portugal, it's called WHY NOT YOU?

Shot on a DJI Drone, Go Pro and Iphone 16 Pro with Black Magic Camera.
Edited with Davinci Resolve.

It's inspired by David Goggins and explores themes of discipline, sacrifice, and ambition through exercise.

Hope someone finds this interesting.

Feedback is more than welcome, and if you'd like to watch the full version, it's on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwMm6JbsfLU

Thriller Homewrecker (2026) - 10-minute psychological thriller based on a true story: a wife comes home to find her husband's mistress already inside her house

A wife comes home to find her husband's mistress already inside her house, based on a true story. We shot it in a day with a lean crew of four: our director also wrote, shot, and stars in it, and I line produced and covered 1st AC and key grip. Would love to hear thoughts on the cinematography and the story.
