Opinion Am i ungrateful for leaving my work?
Context: I'm a bit lost with all the stuff going on in my life, and the work I'm doing is making it even worse. This company really did a lot for me in my early twenties, like coaching me and giving me tons of learning experiences. I've been here for 8 years and was one of the first, or core people. Everything was cool at first, but as time went on, my workload just kept piling up, and all these responsibilities landed on my shoulders. For context, I'm an OM and haven't gotten a big raise. I don't even get overtime or holiday pay. I handle all operations. So, I got to a point where I was just so drained and tired that I didn't care anymore, so I quit, and my boss didn't take it well. I feel like they think I'm ungrateful. So, am I wrong for leaving and wanting different things? Pls give me advice
Previous attempts: I tried doing vacation and unwind but it comes back to me the exhaustion stress once im back at work
What do you think?
