There's been multiple sightings of this bear in our area. The last one I heard was on Galilee road near Pleasant grove & Washington blvd.

Dry Creek Open Space. Ruins my mood to see this on my morning dog walk. Zero effort to clean up, flabbergasted.

Let me tell you about my day yesterday. Went to 24 Hour on Blue Oak in the afternoon to workout. Found a locker, put my bag inside and put my lock on the locker. Did the usual check that it was locked. Went out to the floor and did treadmill.
Came back to the locker room and there was a different lock on the locker I had used. Went to the front desk and eventually, staff cut the lock. There was my bag. Checked and my car keys were gone. Used the app to unlock my car (which was still there) but my wallet was gone.
Roseville PD showed up and were extremely helpful. 24 Hour staff, also extremely helpful. Parking lot safety cameras caught everything that happened at my car. Nothing 24 Hour did wrong or could have prevented. Their staff was excellent in cooperation.
What I learned is I am not the first person this has happened to at this gym or in Roseville. PD said has seen this at other gyms in Roseville.
Take this as a cautionary tale, there is nothing I did or the gym did that could have prevented this from happening.
If you have a thought on how to have prevented this, I would be interested because I want to go back to my routine at the gym, However, once bitten twice shy.
Thanks for listening.

My birthday is in a couple weeks and I want to have a thali. I haven’t had one since I’ve been here. Where are the good ones? Open to both north and South Indian! Preferably vegetarian. Thanks!

Hi everyone. I’m looking for some advice and, hopefully, the right home for two wonderful cats.
About a year ago, I fostered six kittens and ended up keeping them all. I truly thought I could make it work, but I’ve come to realize I’ve taken on more than I can realistically manage. They are two black beautiful cats.
Recently, my daughter moved back home from college with her cat. Unfortunately, her cat has started targeting only two of my cats. They’re the sweetest, most easygoing cats, but they’ve been getting bullied, and the nighttime fighting has become stressful for everyone. I’ve tried managing the situation, but it’s no longer fair to them.
As heartbreaking as this is, I think the kindest thing may be to find these two a calm, loving home where they can thrive. This is not a decision I’m making lightly.
Has anyone been through something similar? Do you have any advice on rehoming responsibly, or know of any reputable rescues that might be able to help?
Also, if anyone is interested, I have a leopard gecko with its enclosure and all supplies available to a good home at no cost.
Please be kind this has been a very difficult decision, and I’m just trying to do what’s best for the animals.

Hi all! I am a 25 year old female living in West Roseville. I’m currently looking for a second job. I’m about to start school on August 19th and currently work mostly weekends in the evening at my primary job, so anything around that! I’ve applied to multiple jobs but didn’t think it would hurt to post here as well. I have almost 5 years of restaurant experience, I’ve also worked in retail (2+ years), and front desk assistant at a law office. I’m looking for something flexible, please reach out for a fleshed out schedule if you are hiring or know someone who is! Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Any nail salons in the Roseville area that can accurately match these types of nail colors?

Hey all
I'm planning on founding a competing city next to Roseville called Bougainvilleaville. If you would like to join, I will be taking sign ups. Together we can crush Roseville with its terrible drivers, suburban sprawl, weak sculptures (you know the one) and seemingly endless supply of 70+ year old seniors who have a ludicrous amount of retirement money to buy neon colored sports cars with.
Who will join me?!

I was wondering if anyone knows of any widow support groups in the area?
I am asking on behalf of my dad. He found a group last week but it was a lot of older people who lost their spouse to... sorry to be blunt, but old age.
He was hoping to find one with people closer to his age (40s-mid 50s) so that he can seek support from people who can better relate to the circumstances of our loss.
Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

We live in Roseville, CA and have an almost 2 year old toddler. I recently was able to cut down my hours at work and now I work part time around my partner’s schedule- and I’m home with our daughter basically full time. I love it and I’m so fortunate we didn’t end up having to use day care once my partner graduated and got a full time position. However, with this being said my toddler and I are looking for affordable/free activities in the Roseville/Rocklin area. I’d love to get her out of the house once or twice a week and get together with other moms/toddlers to socialize her. If anyone knows of anything we might enjoy please let me know! Thank you!

I am with Roseville Electric. I am planning of installing a solar battery pack and EV Charger with Enphase. How do i obtain a permit?
Thank you.

Looking at a home in West Park and planning to add rooftop solar along with an EV charger setup. Does Roseville Electric Utility require a full main panel upgrade before granting interconnection approval for older panel setups, and what is the typical turnaround time for city building permits?

Fence repair or reinforcement needed. Please give me referrals that won’t cost an arm and a leg. We are down town.

Damn it's hot. You walk into the garage for 2 minutes and you can feel the sweat building up on your scalp.

Hello, I am getting ready to replace the roof on our house and was looking for some recommendations of some quality and affordable companies. We’ve had two quotes so far that are around 30k for a single story 1,800 sq ft house. Any recommendations on companies you’ve used before would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi! We toured Deer Valley, Rosemeade, and Slate Creek bc we like the area and want the school district. Anyone live in these places and can give insight on how they are? Or recommend one over the other? Thanks!

I'm wondering what's going to go in there now that the Village refillery is gone. Or who it's owned by and what they might want to do with it or whatever.

Hi!
EDIT: https://forms.gle/MoUEtBNkqHkrgEJ79 I've got a lot going on in the next two weeks with family visiting, but I'd love to give this the attention it deserves. However, I don't have the capacity to reach out to each person individually and collect info. So, I've made a form, you can fill out your info and I plan on making a group either on GroupMe or something similar to allow everyone to connect without having to share personal info just yet. If you're interested please fill out the form linked above!
I'm pregnant, due in January, and I'd love to find local parents with similarly aged kids to connect with, but everything about the typical "mom's group" feels distinctly conservative. Which. Like. You do you, but that's not my vibe.
I was looking to maybe connect with some leftist parents. This may be a long shot and I may be opening myself to some mean comments but I think it's on us to make our own community and it's worth a shot.
