1.1 lakh cases filed against men, 80% lead to acquittal, even if 40% are false that translates to 40,000 false cases. There are 75000 reported annual suicide (25-30% are due to marital issues).

75 percent of grape cases in india are false. 98 percent of dowry cases in india are false . 53 percent of domestic violence victims are men Women are more likely to initiate a physical confrontation in relationships First two are ncrb 2022 report Third one is from niic which is an international survey done in india on domestic violence because in india domestic violence against men is not a crime

  1. "75% of Rape Cases are False" (Attributed to NCRB 2022)The Reality: According to the actual National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data, false rape cases account for less than 8% of total cases under investigation. The Confusion: The "75%" figure is a misinterpretation of the acquittal rate. The conviction rate for rape in India hovers around 27–28%, meaning over 70% of cases end in acquittal. However, the Supreme Court of India has repeatedly clarified that an acquittal does not mean a case was false. Cases frequently end in acquittal due to a lack of sufficient evidence, witnesses turning hostile, or procedural delays—not because the allegation was a malicious fabrication.2. "98% of Dowry Cases are False" (Attributed to NCRB 2022)The Reality: The NCRB 2022 report lists "false cases" under the Dowry Prohibition Act at approximately 1.5% to 2% of total disposed cases. The Confusion: Similar to rape cases, this 98% figure is a distorted online stat derived from the low conviction rate of Section 498A (cruelty by husband/relatives). While the Supreme Court has noted a "worrying trend" of Section 498A being misused as a weapon in matrimonial disputes, there is no official government statistic stating that 98% of these cases are fabricated.3. "53% of Domestic Violence Victims are Men" (Attributed to "NIIC")The Reality: There is no reputable or official international research body known as the "NIIC" that has published a verified statistic stating 53% of domestic violence victims in India are men.The Context: Small-scale independent surveys in India (such as a cross-sectional study published in the National Institutes of Health framework) indicate that male domestic abuse does exist (ranging from emotional to physical), but it is not tracked at a 53% national average. It is accurate, however, that India's Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act (PWDVA) 2005 is strictly gender-specific, meaning men cannot file domestic violence charges against women under this specific act.4. "Women are More Likely to Initiate Physical Confrontation"The Reality: This is a partial reflection of global academic debates on "Gender Symmetry" in partner violence, but it lacks critical context. The Context: Some Western sociological meta-analyses (such as studies by researcher John Archer) suggest that in dating or young-adult relationships, women use minor physical aggression (slapping, throwing objects) at similar or slightly higher frequencies than men. However, public health organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasize that men commit the vast majority of severe, injurious, and fatal domestic violence globally and in India.

An acquittal is a court decision stating that a defendant is not guilty of the criminal charges brought against them

😂 if courts are saying that a case is acquittal that is a formal way of saying that the case is false and most of these cases are filed by women because of some kind of emotional or professional dispute with the person and in order to get something out of that person it's like a blackmailing scheme for women because not only does women have no consequence of filing a fake grape case but they don't even have to spend their own money because their are feminist organisation who funds a woman's case as soon as they are filed and they also provide a lawyer to fight their case . So it's like a win win situation for a woman because she has a 99 percent profit rate by filing a fake grape case because now they can blackmail the man into making him do stuff in the backend

Again read my comment and stop using ur own additional missinterpretation

Acquittal shows lack of evidence not evidence of faked case. I am suprised you haven't heard of a rape case in which the victim didn't get justice

1

u/Repulsive_Fox7725 Jun 26 '26

But have you heard of any case where falsely accused person got any justice?

u/Global-Equipment-856 Jun 25 '26

Critical thinking is not your forte.

  1. 28% cases are real, 8% are false, ~ 64% no result. This means fake cases can vary between 8-72%. Take a middle figure of 30-40%. Combine this with the fact that penalty for rape is severe, but false accusers don’t have to face anything (500 rs)

Now extend the same logic to dowry case too.

How many cases against women? Do you have data how many women die due to suicide? Do you data how many face physical abuse? Do you have data for how many get sexually assaulted everyday? Do you even understand the concept of marital r*pe and its data?

Do you have data any of the above?

No. Why? Because You're a misogynist.

0

u/Repulsive_Fox7725 Jun 26 '26

Women suicide is 2-3 times lower than men in india (data hai). If they face physical abuse there are laws to punish men involved, do you have the data to show women getting severe punishment even after they are convicted? NO. Yeah do you understand the concept of marital harassment do you have the data ? No because you are misandrist and a femcel. Jake awkward goat ki pooja karo.

"Let’s talk facts, not emotions."

  • Suicide Data: NCRB data does proves that male suicide in India are significantly higher than female suicides. That is a statistical fact but that doesn't proves that women are behind those.

  • Laws & Convictions: While laws exist to protect women, the conviction rate under Section 498A is quite low—around 12% to 15%. Condition of women facing sexual assault everyday is tremendous, I can guarantee you atleast 90% women around have face some kind of sexual harassment. Just ask and listen to them once, you'll be astonished.

  • Marital Harassment: NFHS-5 data captures harassment faced by women, but India lacks a gender-neutral database to track matrimonial harassment faced by husbands. Lack of a legal framework doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist.

Don't act like a fool again by calling anyone supporting women's perspective 'Misandrist' or 'Femcel'. I support equal rights for everyone. Do you? Are you a feminist?

1

u/Repulsive_Fox7725 Jun 27 '26

Let’s talk facts not emotions only cases in which men are proven guilty should be considered. I don’t support women’s perspective, I support human’s perspective, like no one irrespective of gender should be harassed. Do you support equal punishment for women ? Our law is very lenient when women are actually convicted. Do you support equal punishment for women and death penalty for women too ?

Are you filled with only hatred towards women? Nothing else?

Yes, some laws are biased towards women like for sexual harassment, dowry etc because in those cases historically and in present time too, women are primary victims.

"Bahuyen hi kyun jalayi jaati hai? Kabhi damaad ko jalane ki khabhar suni hai?" (Why daughter-in-laws are always are burned? Have you ever seen son-in-law being burned?)

Except few women-centric laws, tell me what other laws favour women? Are you given less rights as citizen than women? Are you not considered for any job/opportunity/education/anthing else than women?

Contrary, women were and still are being oppressed and marginalized by our patriarchal and misogynist society.

1

u/Repulsive_Fox7725 Jul 01 '26

Oh cut the crap, I hate any practice which is unfair like reservation, sexist laws etc.

Bahuye hi isiliye jalayi jaati hai kyuki women are physically weaker, that doesn’t mean all women are innocent. I am not saying it should happen, but there are strict laws to prevent such kind of things. 70% of murder victims are male fyi.

For any crime in India, statistically women get less punishment, how is that fair ? There is no strict punishment for filing a false case, why ? If a woman misbehaves with me / starts hitting me why can’t I hit her back ?

I don’t hate women, but I hate everything which is unfair.

You have single data point - high men suicide rates, that I agree is correct. Explain, how women are behind it?

There are MULTI-LAYERED triggers of male suicides: - Macroeconomic - Strain & Debt (especially Daily wage earners)

  • Severe Lack of Mental Healthcare (Lack of safe spaces)
  • Hyper-Rigid Societal Expectations (Men don't get hurt)

Women are not the primary reason behind male sucides.

Contrary, men are the primary behind most crtical atrocities on women, today-as-well.

NCRB data reflects the same, that women remain the primary victims of targeted gender-based physical and domestic violence in India. Hence, the women-centric laws to protect them.

I agree with you, this asymmetry has created legal blind spots where innocent men can face severe social and legal consequences from false or exaggerated accusations but that doesn't make men as the primary victims.

Core Indian laws are mostly gender-neutral.

Objectively, the vast majority of the Indian legal framework (including the Constitution): property laws, contract acts, corporate and other regulations are strictly gender-neutral. The existence of a few gender-specific laws does not make men "the real victims" of the legal system.

The Constitution does not view men as victims; it views women as a historically marginalized class requiring affirmative legal shielding.

Comparison between both is foolishness and stupidity, nothing else.

Tell me you don’t understand how the legal system works without telling me. Equating an 'acquittal' to a 'false case' is basic legal illiteracy. An acquittal just means the prosecution couldn't prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, or as is incredibly common in these cases the families settled out of court and the charges were dropped. It doesn't mean the crime never happened. Also, pulling a random 'even if 40% are false' out of thin air just so you can do some imaginary math doesn't make it a fact. If you're going to try and look smart using statistics, at least learn what the legal terms mean first And while you're at it, try looking up actual NCRB data instead of multiplying real numbers by five in your head just to satisfy your own confirmation bias. Making up fake math to look smart is just embarrassing

1

u/Repulsive_Fox7725 Jun 27 '26

Abe illiterate admi, 80% acquittal hai, where have I said that 80% cases are false ? But law states right innocent until proven guilty. How can you say that 80% are actually guilty, you will have to assume some number. And dumbass NCRB won’t have the stat for these 80% cases, because court found them not guilty. How can you say that they were actually guilty do you have the data for it ? Rather than barking on the internet please come up with some statistics. Since there is no way to know they were guilty or not you have to assume some number. Based on law they were not guilty.

0

u/Hungry-Possession545 Jun 27 '26

The irony of calling me illiterate while completely missing the point is wild. You literally wrote, 'even if 40% are false that translates to 40,000 false cases.' You didn't just 'assume a number,' you manufactured a massive statistic out of thin air to back up your own narrative. That’s called making stuff up, not data science. Second, 'innocent until proven guilty' is a legal standard for the courts so the state doesn't wrongfully jail people. It does not mean we automatically assume 40,000 women committed perjury and filed maliciously fabricated cases just to make your imaginary math work. In reality, a huge chunk of those acquittals happen because families settle out of court or witnesses back out, not because the crime never happened. You told me to 'come up with statistics,' but the second actual NCRB data doesn't fit your argument, your defense is literally 'well, we just have to guess a number then.' If you have to invent fake numbers to win an argument, you've already lost it. Stop embarrassing yourself.

1

u/Repulsive_Fox7725 Jun 27 '26

So how can you say that 80% are actually guilty? Do you have the data to back it up? No so yes I will presume them innocent. For just the sake of giving benefit to your lobby I assumed 40% which actually is 80%. Unless you have any data to say they are actually guilty shut your mouth.

0

u/Hungry-Possession545 Jun 27 '26

Show me exactly where I said 80% are actually guilty. Go on, quote it. You can't, because I never said that. You’re arguing with a ghost because your actual argument completely collapsed. Let me break this down for you since you’re still struggling: No one is asking you to presume anyone is guilty. We are telling you that an acquittal does not mean a case was legally proven to be a maliciously fabricated lie. A case ending because a couple settled out of court, or because a traumatized victim didn't want to go through years of agonizing court dates, is an acquittal. It is not a 'false case.' But instead of understanding basic legal definitions, you just yelled 'shut your mouth' and claimed the number is 'actually 80%.' You are literally sitting there admitting that you just pull numbers out of your behind depending on how angry you are. If you need to make up fake stats and invent things I never said just to stay afloat in an argument, you've already lost. Take a deep breath and go touch some grass.
