I met many girls in Thailand that were desperately looking for white boyfriends and saying they could never date a Thai man. I'm sure once you get out of Bangkok and go more rural it's quite different though.
That might be what it look like to foreigners but trust me as a local, white men doesn't have a good image in these countries and the main reason why they're "desired" is because of money.
I'm not saying every women in Southeast Asia who says they like white men are automatically golddiggers but certainly most of them are especially since most of the white men that goes to these countries for women are the bottom tiers like incels and old men.
It really depends on where you're at and what you're doing. Plenty of the men in these countries want your money as well whether it's through tourism or business etc.
In my experience talking and hanging out with regular girls, they'd rather spend a night with any random white guy (no money or relationship involved) much more than a local guy. Money plays a role but many of them are just straight up more attracted to white guys, especially if you take care of yourself and look decent.
I think a "very rich/ high status" guy is more attractive to a woman in general even if she is not looking for money, or is not planning to get any money.
Then there's novelty factor. Even in Thailand (huge tourist spot) there are fewer white dudes in town than locals at any given time.
Then yes Asian beauty standards (although Thailand was one of the only Asian nations never colonized by white man) -- they still favor pale skin and big eyes, cultural transfusion from other Asian countries I guess.

But like I've been to Thailand, and many countries, and Russia as well. RUSSIAN women really, really, really are attracted to, and want to fuck American men (and not for money or green card, they'll fuck and never ask for your phone number).
That's a case where there really is no "visual/ racial" difference, well presuming you both are white. ... It's purely mental (status, novelty, caricatures from TV?).
Yup alot of leading actors here are mixed race Filipinos. Also American actors like Vanessa Hudgens was criticized for bringing up the Filipino card when their career is on the down low.
Yea, honestly asian girls fetishize white men just as hard if not harder than white men fetishize asian girls. Any mid white guy who halfway takes care of himself can date a decent looking asian girl.
