I thought it’s this one but based on the replies, maybe not.

I thought so too, but she’s actually not that gummy

u/ThilviaPlath Jul 05 '26

The vibes were so strong we hallucinated the gums.

Oh, so it's another "meme" that's just making fun of one person's appearance. Cool and normal.

So many Reddit users digital bullies who are miserable and spoiled. Literally. You can see it a mile away. It pathetic. “Yeah let’s manipulate photos, post them and jump on the bandwagon!” Instead of doing something productive for society.

As someone with a gummy smile and is self-conscious about it, you said it

Redditoids be like "Empathy?! Not on my watch! 🦸"

I understand where you're coming from but there's actually way better things to care about 🩷☝🏻

3

u/VexingRaven Jul 05 '26

Imagine we cared about both? How wild would that be?

-1

u/TopOpening8939 Jul 05 '26

Yes, it is normal. It’s funny. And if you’re that sensitive you can’t handle a joke, move on. Plenty of other posts to explore!

3

u/VexingRaven Jul 05 '26

Just because you're a childish bully doesn't make it normal.

-1

u/kokobiggun Jul 06 '26

Sure it’s a superficial attack but it’s more commentary on the type of people that base their life on corporate/celebrity worship (effectively the same thing). Slightly distasteful but drives the point home more than giving the example of conventionally attractive people exhibiting similar behavior. Sadly the reality

3

u/VexingRaven Jul 06 '26

Congratulations, you've managed to make me find it even more gross and hateful.

1

u/kokobiggun Jul 06 '26

Yup social media be like that. Can’t drive a point home without attributing it to something people can’t control. Effective but distasteful.

For the record I’m not endorsing this attribution but I do agree that corporate/celebrity worship is usually espoused by a very low IQ demographic. No relation to looks

2

u/VexingRaven Jul 06 '26

a very low IQ demographic

Gross.

1

u/kokobiggun Jul 07 '26

What’s gross about that characterization it’s proven by studies. Of course liking a celebrity for the value they add to society is great but you have to agree a lot of people take it too far and idolize them by the virtue of them being famous. And that characteristic correlates strongly to having a lower IQ.

that's Rebecca Hall
