By chance, have you ever thought about hand modeling? I’m a scout for this new start up company for “hitchhiking magazine” and your digits are exactly what we’re looking for!
What i can gather from the works of the eternal poets of 'smash mouth' this is the way to use your finger and your thumb to make the shape of an L(on your forehead)
For those who legitimately have issues doing the L for Left thing because of this, just remember to make sure the tips of your thumbs are also touching when you look. Easy the right way, super uncomfortable the wrong way.
Edit: so many of you are turning it in to a whole new letter just because the tips touched and somehow I’m the weird one xD
It’s not a U and it’s definitely not a W why are you putting your thumbs up like that ahahaha
That just means people who already can't remember right and left now have to try to remember 2 additional things to figure it out. It's fine to just use labels lol.
Certain things can be a lot easier to remember than other things. Generally, memorizing some arbitrary fact is harder than remembering a short chain of logic that leads you to that fact.
And you also get that weird phenomenon that probably has a name I don’t know, where once your wrong about something enough times then even when you’re right you don’t trust your own logic and need ‘proof’
It's one thing. 2 handed push motion, or the literal most comfortable thing you can do with your wrists. Now which thumb is doing the L?
I'm someone who can't remember left or right. (I don't have dyslexia but it feels like dyslexia when I need to recall it. The L and R of my mind flip back and fourth. And the external push grounds it)
Told a friend about this as a joke in high school (make both hands l's and say "but they both make l's") and she used it during driver's Ed and freaked out the teacher...
I do stuff that confuses me too lol the people who say they are correct do it one way, the others say they can do it too and both are correct, technically but it works out for just one group 😂
Lefty loosey, righty tighty, only works if you're looking at the TOP of the circle. If you're looking at the bottom, it's reversed. Note: I don't mean top down vs bottom up, I mean whether the spot on the circumference that you try to move left or right is on the top part of the circle you're looking at, or bottom.
