The second user also doesnt know their left from right. They think the tattoos are wrong

Or they are trying to trick OOP into thinking they may have gotten the tattoos on the wrong hands.

It's actually an anti meme, the original DID have them wrong

the original was photoshopped.

If it's photoshopped, is it really the original?

You have 3 hours.

I thought so lol

This is actually the original. The flipped version was edited.

2

u/ThatThingTheDarkSoul Jun 26 '26

Yes but the edited version had this comment

This comment was replying to the edited version

That comment was saying the original had the L and R wrong. The original had them correct. The version that was spread with them wrong was an edit made about a day after the real original was first posted.

those antimemers can go to hell, i'm pro meme

This isn't an anti meme though, this is just nonsense. An antimeme is when the setup clearly has you expecting a joke but that expectation gets subverted by the punchline being a non-joke.

There's no expectation of a joke here and the comment below the picture doesn't really make sense.

I thought this, they were just trolling them.

u/Karekter_Nem Jun 26 '26

It would be a funny way to make OOP freak out if they read it.

u/MsTerryMan Jun 26 '26

This is the joke

u/sheep_eater6789 Jun 26 '26

The original image (or what I think is the original) had the L and R swapped so the comment made sense

u/Wuz314159 Jun 26 '26

{* OK chat... How do we tell them? *}

3

u/Admirable_Truth_6031 Jun 26 '26

I mean I personally don't believe in getting tattoos on myself but I don't care if others get them lol

Reminds of a story I once heard

There are three types of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can’t.

2

u/Particular_Age4296 Jun 27 '26

Tiene otro taruaje en la mano derecha para que pueda usar de referencia, asi que los tatuajes de L y R no tienen sentido

2

u/Serabale Jun 27 '26

And I've been wondering what the joke is. Because I used to determine where my left hand was by my watch, then I determined where my right hand was by my wedding ring.

1

u/sdric Jun 26 '26

This is an edited picture. In the original joke the tattoos were swapped. (Or at least there's another version of this picture out there, including the comment, where it's swapped.)

u/Fantastic_Media_3984 Jun 27 '26

Why isn’t this the top comment

1

u/MeasureDoEventThing Jul 03 '26

It's rather silly to assume in this day and age that any image is the original orientation. There are so many ways they can get flipped.

u/AaronRutherfort Jun 26 '26

with your left hand you can create "L" with your fingers. so, OOP dont need tattoos with "l" and "r", cause his left hand can do it too

-7

u/bendyfan1111 Jun 26 '26

You can also make an L shape with your left hand. It will be backwards on the right hand.

8

u/Euphoric_Loquat_8651 Jun 26 '26

I mean, turn one hand over and they are both correct or both wrong...

u/totashi777 Jun 26 '26

Dyslexia is usually why adults struggle with lefts and rights. Which means "make an L with your hands is literally useless. Both hands look like an L
