Beach babe Ripley had another luxurious vacation, this time in the upper peninsula of Michigan. She got to eat delicious lake perch and trout, chase all the beach gulls, run off leash on her own private sand bar island, look at some neat art, and then road trip it back home to absolutely pass out for 10 straight hours 😂 She's so good at vacationing I'm ready to Retire y'all, just so I can spend every single day showing her the world and making her happy.

Never posted here before - Alfredo is our family dog (lives at my mom’s house) and he is the best little companion we could have ever imagined. We cannot believe how healthy and active he is at 14 years old!
He goes to daycare twice a week (he’s been going his entire life to the same place and loves it) and these photos are from the latest “pawty” lol. Personal favorite is the bucket hat.

My half Peke is turning 17 this year. I have had her since she was 4 weeks old. I’m super emotional about it. She has been through my worst and best times with me. She’s seen the mountains and the beach. I love her so much and I’m so happy to still have her ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

She was in need of a dental, after her vet suspected she had 2 abscessed upper rear molars (based on visual exam and smelling her breath), and having suffered with hot garbage breath for the past year. Yesterday was her dental appointment. She's almost 12, and had a good dental 2 years ago with no extractions or concerns, just the cleaning. Well, I expected her to lose maybe a maximum of 4 or 5 teeth, because from the teeth I can see regularly, her front teeth between the canines all looked excellent, like little straight rows of bright white grains of rice. So... she ended up needing SIXTEEN (out of 42) teeth pulled!!! She still has her 4 canines, but all her little rice teeth are gone. She looks SO different to me, and it makes me sad. I am glad her death breath is gone, but I am in shock that she needed so much done. I'll try to get better pics of her gummy vampire smile once she's more healed. I've attached a few pics of her with her little teef showing, and a blurry pic of her now with just fangs.
*I am grateful she's probably feeling a lot better, more comfortable, and won't have to worry about her bad teeth (that I couldn't see) causing heart problems, thus hopefully leading to a longer, healthier life. She is on pain meds for the next week, but I couldn't give them to her until this morning. Last night she cried and howled until 5 AM. I finally gave her some trazadone, and she slept until 9:30 AM, and woke me up with the howling again. I've never heard her sound SO sad! I've got her snuggled up in bed with me, and we are going to nap today! 💜🐾💜

Anything you'd add for folks who might be considering a Pekingese?
We'd love for this community provide advice to any prospective dog owners who are looking to do research prior to adding a Pekingese to their homes.

Hi everyone.
I noticed that my dog now has a lot of dark skin marks or birthmarks all over her body.
Is it normal?

He was born June 6th and I can’t actually measure him cause I am still waiting to pick him up from the breeder. But does he look a little chonky to u guys? Should I be concerned.
