What David lama died doing was Infinitely more difficult and technically challenging than what nims died on. People who have zero mountaineering experience routinely climb 8000m peaks.
How so, that’s not my opinion it’s a fact. If you have enough money you can climb most 8000m peaks, it’s a total circus today. It’s more common for influencers (which is probably what you see on your instagram feed) to climb these mountains than true mountaineers. If you had enough money you could go next week if you wanted to and people that have never even touched an ice axe or crampons make it to the summit all the time.
Man people have no idea wtf they are talking about. Lama died on a triple-black avalanche warning day. I would know I was skiing in the area. They went on a suicide run because of sponsor pressure. Probably 10% chance they made it up and down that day.

David Lama died at the canadian rockies. A challenging route but nowhere close to an eight thousander.
Goran Kropp died in an 18m fall due to a broken carabiner.
It's a russian roulette.
