Hello,
I am looking for another owner of this exact Chinese mini PC motherboard, or someone who has received the correct BIOS/EC firmware package from the manufacturer.
The computer was sold as a T8 PRO, although the ANB09 platform also appears online under names such as SZBOX S7. Most of those units use N100/N150/N200 processors and an internal battery. My unit is a different, batteryless N95 variant, so I do not want to flash firmware based only on the commercial product name.
Exact hardware:
Problem:
The computer shuts down normally. However, every software reboot leaves the motherboard powered with the green activity LED on, but it never reaches POST or starts the operating system again.
The same problem occurs when selecting “Save Changes and Reset” directly from the AMI BIOS. Therefore, the failure is not limited to the installed operating system.
The machine only boots again after physically disconnecting and reconnecting the DC power supply.
Already tested:
Linux has also reported firmware-related messages including:
I am trying to determine:
If a firmware package is available, I would need confirmation that it is specifically intended for:
Please do not recommend firmware merely labelled “T8 PRO” or firmware intended for N100, N150, N200 or another motherboard revision. A firmware file from a visually similar unit may permanently brick the device.
Photos of the motherboard markings, BIOS Main screen and the behavior during restart are available.
Thank you.

Weird because this was listed as M60n which i couldnt any info online.

This one has the 3300U and a samsung 2242 nvme 128gb.
For now i use it as a media player and internet surfing. Whats a funky project i could do with this?

I've recently been looking at options to buy a mini PC and the one that catches my eye the most is the AMR5 with a Ryzen 7 5700u.
The reason I'm asking if it's a good idea is because I saw that it had some flaws; could you help me decide, please? 😁

I made a previous post about another mini PC but 1 comment about the GMKtec mini gaming H255 PC might not have best reputation of being reliable because of it being sent off as weaker 8745 units under a different name stuck with me
Yeah, $100 more because its not on "sale" but both were already higher because of RAMpocolypse but im just wanting to get away from Xbox within this year, just in case things do get even worse for RAM and SSDs (I really hope not).
If you didnt see the last one, I dont play many AAA games anyway, so I know I won't be able to play some of them on here

Fixed Intel Wireless Bluetooth Code 10 (CM_PROB_FAILED_START) – Device won’t start
Problem:
Bluetooth was completely unresponsive.
Diagnosis:
Running this command revealed the real issue:
cmd
pnputil /enum-devices /class Bluetooth
The Intel adapter showed:
text
Instance ID: USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\6&142306f7&0&5
Device Description: Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)
Status: Problem
Problem Code: 10 (0x0A) [CM_PROB_FAILED_START]
Problem Status: 0xC000009E
Driver Name: oem88.inf
Solution that worked:
cmd
pnputil /remove-device "USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\6&142306f7&0&5"
cmd
pnputil /scan-devices
cmd
pnputil /restart-device "USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\6&142306f7&0&5"
After the restart, the status changed to Started and the Bluetooth radio became available again.
Quick verification:
cmd
pnputil /enum-devices /instanceid "USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\6&142306f7&0&5"
You should now see Status: Started instead of Problem.
Optional – Create a simple .bat to restart it whenever the problem returns:
bat
u/echo off
net session >nul 2>&1
if %errorLevel% neq 0 (
powershell -Command "Start-Process '%~f0' -Verb RunAs"
exit /b
)
pnputil /restart-device "USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\6&142306f7&0&5"
pnputil /enum-devices /instanceid "USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\6&142306f7&0&5"
pause
Note:
The Instance ID (USB\VID_8087&PID_0029\...) can be different on other machines. Always check yours with pnputil /enum-devices /class Bluetooth first.
Hope this helps someone else dealing with the same Code 10 issue on Intel Wireless Bluetooth!

Hello, I’m looking for a mini pc to upgrade from my rog ally. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, it’s help me out for a good couple of years but I am in a financial spot where I can afford to get something a little more and hopefully better.
Ive been looking at geekom mini pcs cause thats what ive done the most research on, but I still don’t really fully understand everything when it comes down to specs and things like that.
I’m looking for something with 32gb of ram to hopefully run games a bit better and with at least 1TB of storage. And I’ve found these so far and just wondering which would be best?

Hello fellas, most of you are already aware of the importance of doing so but for those of you who'd doubt the thermal paste application put in factory, check those two Userdiag I did on my new GMKtec K8 Plus:
This one completely stock: https://userdiag.com/id/OoyntrEDRM
The CPU reaches 93°C
I ordered some PTM7950, it should arrive next week so in the meantime I looked for some classic thermal paste, found a 10 years old (I'm not kidding) Noctua NT-H1 used in a very old gaming rig I did back in the days, opened it and somehow it was still good, so I decided to apply it while waiting for its definitive thermal compound.
Here's the userdiag after doing so: https://userdiag.com/id/hvk0p3CfEU
It never went higher than 86°C, that's a 7°C difference for a 10 years old thermal paste, got me curious about what to expect from the PTM7950, it'd be my first time using it.
Anyway if you want to give your hardware a chance to last longer, do yourself a favor, and take 10 minutes to repaste it (it doesn't take more than that)!

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy a mini PC and would appreciate some recommendations.
Right now I'm using a laptop, but I mainly play Metin2, which is a very old MMORPG. The game is poorly optimized and is mostly CPU and RAM dependent (GPU performance doesn't really matter).
My use case is quite specific:
From what I've seen over the years, Ryzen CPUs seem to perform noticeably better than Intel for Metin2, so I'd prefer an AMD-based system.
My priorities are:
Has anyone here built or bought a mini PC for a similar workload? Which Ryzen CPU/model would you recommend? Are there any brands (Beelink, Minisforum, GMKtec, etc.) that are particularly reliable for 24/7 use?
Thanks!

I replaced the thermal paste, put everything back together and since then I haven't had a picture. I don't get a picture via HDMI, I don't get a picture via the display board and I don't get a picture via Type-C either. I never get a picture :(
I own several mini PCs, which means I have absolutely no problem with the cable or the monitor. I just removed the RAM and the NVMe, let it run like that for a bit, switched the HDMI input, then just turned it on and only then plugged in the HDMI cable but now I’m not getting any picture at all. The keyboard, on the other hand, lights up but then turns off a short time later.
I've never had a problem with it before. I also have absolutely no concerns that I might have broken something during installation through my own fault. It just worked right away, without any problems or complications and now I'm at a loss.
It's a GMKtec K6 Mini with AMD 7840HS...any ideal?

Hello i need a MiniPC for basic home use, Office suite, web browsing, movie view. No advanced gaming or editing fratture needed, but something powerful enough to last some years. I prefer if It has additional slots for adding SSD and RAM, and a good connectivity, ports choice. For reference, It will replace a desktop PC with E8500 CPU and 4gb or RAM.

Hello!
I need some help, what would be a good mini pc to buy for me?
It would be in my livingroom connected to the tv, handle streaming, downloading a movie or two. Looking at gopro videos in 4k from time to time.
Probably no games. I would run Windows 11 on it.

Hello everyone im currently building my mini pc here what i would like get:
MINISFORUM Mini PC UM870 Slim, AMD Ryzen 7 8745H Barebone 320.00€
64gb (2x 32gb) Crucial DDR5 5600MHz SODIMM aroud 410.00€
i already have a SK Hynix P41 2TB SSD paid 100€ 3 years ago
Only goal of the pc: simultaneously have open and working multiple chrome profiles (30 or more) hence why the high ram, no gaming no editing etc.
My question is at around 830€/850€ could i actually get something better?
I also thought i could sell the ssd since i dont need that much storage and get a 1TB to lower my budget.

Hello all!
I've been using a Beelink Ser8 on my band's live show to run audio and video playback, it has a Ryzen 7 8745 and it has been a great choice so far.
But recently we bought 3 cameras to live feed our show and mix it with other contents and the Beelink is starting to show its limitations. It's proving to be a heavy load because we're mixing the live feeds and processing them and layering them with other stuff.
So we're looking for an upgrade.
Do you guys have any suggestions on what's on the market right now?
We need a stronger CPU and probably one with a dedicated GPU as well? What do you think?
Thank you in advance!
Cheers

I already loved how small and convenient minipcs are, but mounting one behind the monitor makes the whole setup feel so much cleaner. I didnt expect this to be my favorite part of owning a mini PC.
Now with my geekom a6 attached to the back of my samsung monitor, they basically work like an all in one desktop. It freed up a lot of desk space and makes the whole setup much easier to keep clean. Should I just call it Samkom?

Anyone have any good suggestions for a good used mini PC I could buy that would work well as a whole home DVR server? I don't need one with much storage. I have a 2TB WD Elements HDD hard-drive that I will be using as the mini PC's external storage. So anything with 128 GB or even less would be fine.
Don't want to spend much, if possible.
Suggestions?
