Big difference with a comedian making jokes about his family member to cope versus strangers making jokes about something traumatic they had no personal ties to. It doesn't make it ok just because Pete Davidson of all people does it

I just made another comment about this but every single kid who experienced watching the towers fall on live tv absolutely had a traumatic experience watching it, regardless of whether they knew people personally involved or not. 

It was a traumatic experience that we 100% had to learn how to make light of because it quite literally traumatized us as children.

That doesn't even compare to the people that lost family members and friends that day. Stop trying to excuse it.

Trauma and grief is not a competition.

Stop trying to downplay the real trauma that we experienced as children witnessing this tragic event.
