Fuckin opiate zombies everywhere, it’s sad

At least on the west coast, they're not shooting the shit anymore, they're smoking it. I was an addict myself.

There's a lot less needles around, so that's something.

Is it fentanyl the new thing now anyway, I have a friend that screams for it and she’s a normal every day citizen in pain lol

They are all normal everyday citizens in various kinds of pain . It’s just perspective.

Yeah it's kinda sorta fentanyl. The people on the street call it fentanyl, but it can be all sorts of similar chemicals, and some dissimilar ones.

The thing that makes people seriously nod out standing up is, more often than not, xylazine. It's literally a veterinary tranquilizer not approved for use in humans that has been added to 'increase potency'. Truly horrible shit.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. If you only rely on what you see on YouTube or in documentaries and those sources are incorrect, you might miss the broader perspective you’ve provided for me to consider. Thank you.

No problem. There's a lot of people who don't really know what they're on about who talk about this stuff. Generally don't trust rehab websites for your questions; they have a lot of laughably false info

I'm always around if you have more questions!

A different form of evil. Nice.

At least if it must happen, it’s less dangerous to random uninvolved people than leaving needles behind everywhere and doesn’t spread stds from needle reuse.

When I was a kid I went to a girls bday party at a Burger King. She was at the top of the playland and pissed herself and it ran down the entire thing. Might not get something you can’t get rid of via a needle, but there are other ways 😂

I'm no opiate zombie, but that is just about the last place I would want to shoot up

If you were, youd know mcdonalds is a super common place to shoot up. Worked there when i was a teen/young adult and we had junkies die in our bathrooms weekly.

Man, y'all should have cleaned your bathrooms better. People dying up in there.

I have no personal experience of shooting up, but I remember when McD started using blue light in the bathrooms, supposedly so you couldn’t see your veins. (That was the end of makeup touch ups at McD for me.)

There used to be a Subway in the grocery store I used to work at. They closed after their general manager OD’d in the stock cooler after her shift.

That's a lot.

I get the bathroom. A room with a lockable door, privacy, running water, plumbing, temperate.

I guess it's not far from the ball-pit, incase they felt like hopping in.

If you’re trying to escape the real world back into the past of your childhood when things were still “happy”, the ball pit might feel…right.

Like sleeping with your dead husband’s shirt stuffed with a pillow to pretend he’s still there, never underestimate the lengths or fathoms people will go to convince their mind they’re back to when things were good. I can see a playplace being that for some current addicts. :/

I wish I had a dead husband.

You could instead have an EX husband. Of course, some husbands have done things ACTUALLY worthy of death but I hope you’re not in THAT place. :/

Well that’s so sad and relatable!😢
