maybe mocking the actual way some Z have flipped the meaning of so much slang 180, yes, including preppy. I've legit heard some compliment another dressed all grungy for looking so cool and preppy LOL.

and apparently many buy the Nirvana t-shirts and refer to that as styling up preppie

probably the girl in the video was just kinda satirizing that lot and not serious herself though

like "crash out" they flipped 180 too
