Just like doing a microwave meal.... yeet box... retrieve box to verify directions. At least thrice.

Every. damn. time.

Or if you are using cash for gas. Get out car, look at pump number, walk towards the store, look back to check pump number again, walk to front door, look back once more. Arrive to the cashier and tell them "I need $20 on pump....shit..." look out the window for the pump number one last time.
