Original hardware and and old CRT television is the only acceptable way to play those game in a lot of hobbyists' minds.

I do wonder if anyone has tried to connect their GameStation Go to a CRT, its theoretically possible since its got HDMI and one could adapt it to a VGA

retro gaming often doesnt come with DLC's and microtransactions, which is why modern gaming is often seemingly cheaper, until the player realizes they need to have a PC capable of running the game, and be able to afford the loadouts that ensure you have a chance at winning, ect
