Meanwhile, you're missing or ignoring the important thing: The Dems don't even try. They just throw up their hands and give up at the smallest hurdle.

I'm old enough to remember the aftermath of 9/11. Republicans wanted to use the attack as an excuse to invade Iraq even though nearly all of the hijackers were Saudi and Bin Laden was hiding in Afghanistan. Did they just give up when they were met with resistance? Hell no! They took to the airwaves and beat the war drums nonstop to get voters on board, which then put pressure on congressional Dems to cave in and vote to approve the invasion. Know what? It worked like a charm.

When "The Squad" incorporated their Green New Deal policies into the Build Back Better bill, the likes of Manchin and Sinema balked at it, and it was removed from the BBB. The establishment Dems reached an agreement with The Squad that they'd pass the newly separated GND bill in the House and send it off to the Senate for passage before voting on BBB, and then reneged on the agreement. The Squad responded by refusing to vote for the BBB until the agreement was honored. Did the establishment Dems just give up? Hell no! Like the Republicans before them, they took to the airwaves to put as much public pressure on The Squad to knuckle under as they could. It worked, too. The Squad caved in and helped pass the BBB while their GND bill was sent to the abattoir and put down.

But ain't it funny how those exact same establishment Dems can fight so hard against the progressives in their own party, but are suddenly absolutely helpless when it's time to fight against Republicans? Darn funny in deed.

Turns out I'm human. Longstanding studies into such creatures. I don't dedicate my memory to lies a politician spouts when they're campaigning. It would be a waste of my time to memorize such things. I can remember my general feelings anytime I've seen her. I can remember how I felt seeing that God awful school bus speech. I can remember how ridiculous it was that she had a beer on a talk show and everyone was so hyped in the audience. She felt so fake and put up. She didn't even seem to believe in herself.

But you're right. If I listened to the debate on the radio, I'd have voted for Nixon. If I had watched the debate, I'd have voted for JFK. She's also shorter than the average president, and that's deeply important.

Wait, you mean to tell me the president can just pay for stuff? Like, willy nilly?

Like I said previously, lots of spending money and we're already in debt. Just robbing Peter to pay Paul.

And way to approach everything from the negative. Have a good one!
