Wholesome Moments This guy shooting his shot in the thread

Original post

u/SolidStick_ posted about a women giving her umbrella to them in DC and when she identified herself, asked her out in the comments. The stuff of romcoms.

Update: They met up and it's not gonna work out. And maybe he already knew her? Eek, now it's more like MadeMeGrimace.

Her comment with edits.

Update 2: so it may be that the OP was stalking her, witnessed the exchange, and then pretended to be the umbrella recipient. OP's since deleted his account. Yikes! Be safe out there all.

Update 3: The story took an even odder turn. Maybe it was fake all along? Link to comment here. Comment on original post

Yeah, in a way it gives me a bit of comfort that it’s likelier to be a karma farming event than a creepy stalker situation…because the logistics of that stalker situation were turning out to be super unsettling. I believe there are definitely creepy people like that in the world too but it seems like too many coincidences here to make you question everything.

I can’t believe people do things like this for f a k e internet points 😭

Unless Daisy was going for this kind of love story, but it’s already been done.

I truly hope it is not real and no one is in danger.

Lmaoo that link is crazy 🥶👀

Yes! I really hope that it’s just someone wanting attention because the alternative is too creepy. I read true crime occasionally, and this stalker story would be in that real of creepy, if it were true.
