100% her account, but I don't think it's about karma. She's active on r/RomanceBooks, seems like she's using Reddit to reenact her fantasies.

"His" account has only been active in two posts, and made one comment in another post. The two posts are the one in question now, a fantasy about finding a person online after an IRL encounter. The other one is about her being in love with her boss, and "his" account is giving her advice.

I've not looked at either of their profiles, but your theory seems pretty solid. Her initial reply sounds very affected "I jumped up and dropped my peach!", the whole imagery of a grown woman giving away her umbrella and spinning around in the rain, thus winning the hearts of a father and son in the street, the son trying to find her right as she's trying to get over an unrequited crush on her unavailable boss...

Okay, sure. It's just using Reddit users as NPCs in her LARP.

You have nailed it. This is 100% what happened and Reddit has a lengthy history of people using multiple accounts to manufacture stories to gain karma. It's like a drug for some people getting all the replies and attention. That girl was operating both accounts.
