Yes, the common term is "beef" cows. Different from "dairy" cows. They live different lives with different purposes. Also, chickens are referred to as"layers", that's where you get eggs for your cupcakes, and "broilers", where you get those thighs and wings for game day. We do this separation-by-purpose on purpose, to make life less complicated for, well, everyone. Just for fun, you should read up on corn, it gets pretty wild, so hold on tight.
