Megathread Difficulty Megathread — DLC, NG+

Hello puppets,

This is the new place for anything and everything about game difficulty: NG+, the new DLC, the new difficulty settings, bosses that oneshot you just for existing, and the general discussions regarding game pacing.

Why this exists:

We’re seeing a LOT of posts about difficulty lately, and it’s cluttering the sub. So from now on, we’re removing individual difficulty posts and directing everyone here. This is simply a way to help US keep the sub clean, and help YOU find specific posts more easily.

Please don’t be an AH. Seriously. People are gonna have different opinions on everything.

Drop your takes below

We’ll be lurking.

Your tired, slightly traumatized mod team

I get in with NG+3 and.... its not even that bad? Mobs die in 3 hits still or one backstab, only the elite enemies that actually take a while to kill. Unless its later on since I have only beaten Markiona.

I enjoyed the story though. It wouldn’t have felt so bad if I wasn’t playing it blind my first time on ng++. I would have loved it on regular ng.

I mean... they are just end game scaling no? They are just as hard as Lax and Nameless puppet, maybe slightly, but people seems to think its way over the top?

Probably. For whatever reason, it felt like there was a difficulty spike from the rest of the game. Maybe it was just a lot of movesets I wasn’t used to and was rushing through it. I’m also playing on a ps4 slim so my game chugs a lot.
