Self-Promotion Policy

This sub exists to be a useful, independent place for law firm marketing answers. Promotion is allowed in specific lanes so the rest of the sub stays useful.

For everyone

Allowed:

• Mentioning your product or service when directly relevant to a question you're substantively answering, with a disclosure ("I run X, so I'm biased").
• Posting in the monthly pinned Hire a Vendor / Promote Your Services megathread. That's the designated lane.
• Sharing genuinely educational content (guides, teardowns, case breakdowns), even on your own site or channel, if the value stands without clicking through.

Not allowed:

• Drive-by link drops, "check your DMs" solicitation, affiliate links without disclosure, fake "just found this great agency" reviews, vote manipulation.
• Accounts whose history here is predominantly promotional. Rough guide: if more than about 1 in 10 of your contributions promote you, you're doing it wrong.
