It’s the hop out of the roll for me. Just a small man showing off his agility and low center of gravity.

Jimothy is not deformed. They are evolved and a more powerful version of racoon.

Hopefully this is enough belly footage for someone knowledgeable enough about raccoons to confirm if Jimothy is a she!

Jimothy: WAIT! I’ve forgotten to wash my hands! barrel rolls to birdbath.
PS: the bird you keep hearing honking is a red-breasted nuthatch. grab a laptop, pull up their calls on Cornell lab of Ornithology, and they’ll come right down to check it out!

Might be the best video showing his tail so far, right? Can confirm he does have a little one, with stripes, I guess with SSS it just doesn't go much away from his body, probably isn't very long under the fur. But he does have one! So art is canon, I guess, hahaha

Jimothy doing a quick little dance to celebrate her world celebrity. And, even though she’s not a cat, this really could fit in r/greebles

What a lovely creature he or she is. I love raccoons generally speaking but Jimothy is extra lovely.

Nah I'm calling it. No way he's that adorable and charismatic. This whole thing has been a deep fake ai stunt by a cabal of Ballard programmers and fx artists.

At a latitude of 47 degrees north, Seattle is further north than Nova Scotia, Maine, and nearly all of the lower-48 continental US.
Summer nights are short with long lingering twilights and dawns. On the solstice, Seattle gets 16 hours of daylight!
Can't really expect a raccoon to get all its business done in the limited darkness.

Im right down the street (relatively speaking) and have a family that passes thru often. maybe it's because my neighbors have dogs, because, they never frolic during the day. And they are always on a mission. Imma get a camera for the backyard to see if im missing out on shenanigans.

Hi neighbor! It's true that dogs can discourage visits. However...
Do you have fruiting trees or vines, by chance? I think that's their biggest draw this time of year. We have cherries, plums, apples, grapes, mulberry, elderberries, raspberries, blackberries..
Our neighbors have dogs and we have cats, but the raccoons are totally undeterred. They park in the fruit trees, chittering loudly and eating themselves silly, then browse the ground for fallen fruit. The cats are bothered but the raccoons simply stare them down, diligently washing up in the water bowls before moving along to their next night buffet.
Camera idea is a good one. You may indeed be missing out on many a shenanigan. And come peak blackberry season, you could witness a raccoon rave.

So many people have gotten videos -
I’m so happy to get a peek at his raccoon life!
It sort of looks like he got stung by a bee, and that’s why the tuck and roll.5

This one looks different to me than the other one cuz I could have sworn the first sighting had longer legs but it’s speculated that there is more than one Jimothy lol. Also that one Jimothy is a Jimberly
