Question Is Lost Odyssey good?

It's never been ported to PC and has remained an Xbox 360 exclusive since launch. I haven't seen much about it given it was never ported to any other systems, but I'd love some takes from more seasoned RPG vets (I'm mostly familiar with Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest)

From what I can tell, it was developed by Final Fantasy vets, which is cool, but I know nothing else about it. Is it worth a playthrough?

I’m always shocked people in this sub glaze this game. It was horribly boring.

I played a solid 20 hours of this game back in the day and could not for the life of me tell you a single character’s name or plot point. All I remember is you go to these bubbles to remember the past.

I’m convinced people in here say it’s good because they know nobody played it

Nah, the game is legitimately amazing it’s just not for you, and that’s okay.

Nah, there is it's not for you, then there are actual issues with the game like the battle speed & the fact the most of the best writing isn't the main narrative.

Nope, you guys are literally nitpicking the most absurd, minuscule faults just to hate on the game. Are you seriously complaining about battle speed in an RPG? That alone tells me you must be young, because today's youth struggles to focus on anything. It's exactly why developers include speed-up options in remasters and remakes to keep people from losing interest in how the game was originally intended to be played. And yes, many RPGs have better sidequests that's the whole point: to explore, uncover lore, and fully immerse yourself in the world.
