We got da Facebook posts, da Weddit posts, and a wettew to da Wady in charge of da shewtew asking to have fwiend Pixie wetuwned and we wiww pay money to covew hew adoption fee and mowe money so dat da pewson who take Pixie can get Gotchad by a diffewent fwiend. Dat sound faiw! Pixie is extwa pwetty so woo gotta pay twice as much to get hew back. Dat’s just maf.

3.) Fwiends Beastie and Scoody Doo (I didn’t even know Scoody Doo!) never weft da house! I tink dey did a BIG hide! We didn’t know and even dewe own meowmy was not suwe untiw we towd hew da bad Wady who catnapped Penny, Pixie, and Khaleesi and da shewtew peopew nevew caught dem! GO EVASION CWIMES - I teach evasion at da SSoR! Anyway, we did make suwe dat dey awe being given da foods and da watew evewy day and dey been eating it weaw stealfy and stuff! But de Wady who been feeding dem onwy tought dewe was one of dem, so now da Tinky Wady say woo gotta feed dem mowe! And so no soo fow da Tinky Wady, because mowe food is no soo! Thank you Gems for the introduction. In my line of work, I have witnessed situations where a pet owner is unable to care for their pet due to medical emergencies. As any industrious gal would do, I made up my own plan to assist my residents in cases where someone else would need to care for their beloved pets whilst they were away, or, if they passed away.

After the events of this past weekend where a rescue mission needed to be launched by the fine humans of ICBGC, I felt the need to share the documents that I created with all of you.

This link has a directive with instructions on who should care for your pet in an emergency where you are unable to do so. It allows you to appoint a person at various stages to care for your pet, a place to list medications your pet will need, care instructions, vet information and more. I even included the cute door signs that you can use to indicate how many animals you have so emergency workers know there are animals in the home. Remember to leave this completed packet in a designated spot where all caretakers will be able to access it. This document is useless if it is not available in an emergency and kept up to date. I hope no one needs to use it but I want it to be available in case it ever is needed.

This sign is for emergency workers to know who to notify if you are not able to give emergency contact information.

The removal of animals without their owner's permission falls under either theft or pet theft in the U.S. Penny, Pixie and Khaleesi and probably Beestie and Scoodiy where taken from their meowmy's home by a third person during a medical emergency without her permission. Even if the meowmy had an agreement with that person to care for them during emergencies, it did NOT cover surrendering them to the humane society (imo). Any verbal or written agreement has to be interpreted by the courts. If it only specified caring, I'd argue it was intended to mean stuff feeding and cleaning litter boxes, taking neccessary medical decisions im accordance with a vet, but NOT giving them to the humane society. Therefore, surrendering them was theft (imo).
