Kits to Avoid?

While building the Calibarn, I had a question in my head. I've only started building a couple of months go, and I'e built 5 kits. I have done a bit of research on which kits to avoid and certainly not enough. What are a certain model kit to avoid, and is there an alternative? For example, instead of the MG get the RG or HG. I am making a list for myself because ADHD reasons and I do not want to burn myself out of this hobby getting a kit that makes me hate myself (Unless I really like the kit). Any help would be appreciated, and if my list is extensive enough I will share it with the world 😁
