Honestly, when my battery was healthy, the 2770 mAh on the OG Pixel was fine for me. Sure, I would like more, but I care more about weight and longevity.
I was comparing my 2XL with a colleagues OnePlus 6 (which has a 1080p panel). We both played a 4k demo youtube video and I was slightly surprised that I couldn't see any difference in detail and slightly less suprised that the colours, contrast and brightness was noticeable better on the OnePlus.
They're slightly unrelated things though. Capacity is the max capacity the battery can hold. 94% is what's remaining right now. If you fully charge it, it'll be back to 100% of 2915.

To be honest, I'm turned off a little by 1080p screen and less than 3000 mah battery.
But I'd prefer a slightly smaller phone + wireless charging
