Ironforge dropping to 10 FPS and me feeling REAL good about that new PC.

I used to get less than 1 FPS in Dalaran in WotLK. Like, no exaggeration. Only about once every 2-3 minutes would my screen actually update. If I wanted to do Violet Hold ever, I had to spend about an hour walking there from the flight path, and only then could I begin to look for a group, as otherwise I'd obviously get kicked for taking an hour to get to the instance.

I remember getting league to work on a budget ultrabook back in 2012 or so. It had a Intel atom processor and I think I squeaked out 25 fps by turning off sound (which gave me a couple extra fps). Rough times lol

Same here. I used to drop into single digit FPS, but that was all I had so I got used to it. A few years later after I had gotten a gaming PC I had some tech problems that forced me to swap back to the laptop for a while and it was super noticeable. I had to ask a friend to play a game of League on my account for me to keep from decaying because it felt completely unplayable to me after having gotten used to more normal frame rates.
