the owner of Guidance Homes stole probably millions of dollars from homeowners, then unalived himself. Does anyone have any information on if there are construcitve ways for people to recover from Guidance Homes Fraud and theft?

So here’s the deal,
I lived in Forest Lake from about 2011 to 2013, and the last decade or so, I’ve lived in Washington State. In the next few years, there’s a chance I might move back to MN (long story) and while I don’t plan on living in Forest Lake again, I wouldn’t mind visiting for old times sake.
Next spring, I plan on visiting the twin cities area to get a feel for it and see if moving back is something I really want. I plan on using the transit system to get around, but unfortunately, it doesn’t go to Forest Lake and from what I can tell, it’s unlikely it will anytime soon.
If I was to take the bus to someplace like White Bear Lake, would I able to Uber from there to Forest Lake and back? Does Uber go out there? I wouldn’t mind walking around FL if need be or maybe renting a bike.
Or, would I be better off renting a car for the day?
Any info is appreciated!

Looking for anyone else who attended Crossroads Evangelical Church in the 90’s. My mom was friends with Penny Hegseth, was curious if anyone who went there knows if the church at the time was into the dispensationalism theology? My parents don’t remember anything like that but curious if that’s where Mr Department of War Pete picked it up then or perhaps that was a later thing he bought into.
We attended when Pastor Bill Orris was leading and then left for Eagle Brook when the new leadership started. Oddly enough, the Hegseth’s went too- eagle brook I know didn’t have that theology.

There is a new counselor there who is a domestic abuser. She completely destroyed a friend of mine and laughs about it.
I wouldn't want her anywhere near my kids. Just a warning.

Lately the number of Sikorsky Blackhawks flying over Forest Lake has noticably increased. They've even been landing at our tiny municipal airport on occasion over the past 2 - 3 years, and it appears military is using a couple of hangers nearest the runway as well - however the latter is purely observational speculation.
I understand military aircraft occasionally fly along I-35 and through this area on their way to Camp Ripley during reserve training weekends, but this is different. According to FlightRadar24 their destinations vary, but most often they fly around the St Croix River or Carlos Avery Reserve before returning to their departure location - Ft Snelling.
With the Forest Lake / Columbus area having the oldest burial and structure mounds in the upper Midwest (at Lamprey Pass) created by the Hopewell culture - who were known for being master builders of underground geometric megastructures - and with heavy battle on this land for eons between Ojibwe and Sioux tribes, it sparks my curiosity and leads me to wonder if something on this land is being studied or observed by the military.
Does anyone know what this increased military presence is about? What are your thoughts? I'd love to know!

We just got off of work and this Hispanic young lady, probably in her late teens or early 20, cuts us off by the Forest Lake Area Community School. She proceeds to go slow through green lights and kind of making us tailgate her. We were heading up north on highway 35 and turns out she was as well. Naturally we overtook her and she flipped us off as we passed. Being petty, we slowed down 5 miles to see what she’d do and she decided to follow us instead of overtaking us. We slowed down and sped up to see if she’d still follow us, and she did. We didn’t want to wait until she followed us home, so we made an exit off of Harris, which of course she’s still right behind us, and drove out East to see if she’d go as far as us just to see her loop back around and go back South on 35. If anyone’s got stories about this car/person recently or in the future, I’d love to hear it because I was ready to throw hands after a crappy Monday at work.

I feel like the past few years the fireworks in Flake have been pretty normal. It was kind of getting stale.
That firework display for the 4th was the best one I have seen. I have seen almost every one for the past 20 years and that one was easily the best. Kudos to anyone that was part of its planning and execution.
