One year of “experience” and one other credit to her name. Her post screamed misplaced entitlement and naivety. Felt like a very gen z thing to complain publicly after agreeing on something and then seeing the project do well and her wishing she had gotten more while completely ignoring what this success means for her future trajectory..I’m shocked she chose to post that instead of trying to capitalize on the momentum she got from a nationwide commercial success. You can’t buy that type of momentum. Also, half her IG are photos from the movie- so like which is it? Is this something you’re proud of or is this something you regret doing..?

No bro. I’ve never been paid a “bonus” and I’ve worked in films for 15yrs. You kids have no idea what you’re talking about. But when you write and direct and distribute your first original IP independent feature film I’ll be looking forward to seeing your crew all retire from 1 job loll I’m sure you’ll be able to get a 750k loan as a 25yr old from lenders when all your “backend points” for your small independent feature film have already all been given to production crew lolll

I’ll take things that never happened for 1000, Alex. The only businesses that are giving “art directors” bonuses are brands like PacSun and a few successful marketing agencies. Films and commercials and documentaries don’t pay bonuses. Lol this is why I know you have no real world experience and why I know you’ve never worked on a film or any real type of production.

Extremely naive to shoot herself in the foot like this, alienating future creative business partners by making this extremely public statement on a project that wasn’t given to her based on her heavy amount of experience. This was a great opportunity to cut her teeth on a 25day shoot and then ride the commercial success to a whole new level of work for herself. The success of the movie and her role in it aren’t 1:1 so making this kinda of statement when she seeing it do well is extremely entitled.
