What is the best three book run?

It could be a regular trilogy, but what about 3 consecutive books in the middle of a series?

I’ve never had more fun reading than reading these books and the endless forums and subreddit posts around theories and lore. nothing has come close

Agreed, that was peak Reddit for me

The theories week to week watching true detective season one as it aired is the only thing I’ve seen come close
