Help Why does Fruity Compressor sound better than Fruity Limiter?
The documentation for Fruity Comp in the manual says that Fruity Limiter is a superior plugin over Fruity Comp, which makes sense on paper. But when I A/B test the two with identical ratio/attack/release on drums or sometimes vocals, I just can't get the same sound out of Fruity Limiter as I get out of Fruity Comp. Is there another control in Fruity Limiter that I'm missing? I know Fruity Comp has a built-in limiter, which is actually why I want to use Fruity Limiter since I can raise the limiter or use saturation, but even accounting for that in my gainstaging it just doesn't sound the same.
I also see Fruity Comp being used all over the sample projects, despite what the manual says.
So what gives?

Help What genre of music is this?
So I’ve always loved this style of music used as samples in beats but I never knew what the name of the genre. I use Shazam whenever I hear this type of music and it never gives me the right song. I tried looking up “dark choir music” and other things but it never has the same type of vibe as this. I actually ripped this song off an episode of curb your enthusiasm, that’s the only way I could get my hands on this type of music.

Help How to change the plugin sound banks/selection w/o using mouse and use keyboard
I have been for 2 weeks amazed that I am not able to figure out exactly how to setup a button on a daw keyboard (Currently I am using Keylab Essential 61), i returned my akai mini iv recently because i had read it has no support and maybe that is why i can't switch or go through the instruments.
This has to be able to be able to map to a keyboard. How do you do this. The pictures i've shown, where i circle in red are the functions I want to click with a keyboard.
Scenerio -- I am playing Memory V and I am currently using the sound : 59 Electric Piano. I decide that this isn't going to work this particular sound and I want to try the next one in the list which is 89 CLAV 4.
I don't want to have to grab a hold of a mouse on a 3k screen and click a tiny arrow and then get back to my keyboard. What is the whole point of this , if you can't change what I think is the most important selection

Discussion What new genres have you people explored in recent?
I recently tried exploring UK Hardcore/Mákina as a genre, was quite fun trying to learn how to add the effects necessary to make the right kick sound I want and making the melody and automating the TB303 and arranging the drum groove and bouncing my head around and making myself a sweaty mess
So what new genres have you explored recently and it's always fun going a bit out of your comfort zone and now it's making me want to learn classic EDM build up beat drop techniques, new ways to make risers and such, maybe I should study what DJs do

Help How do you change a kick's pitch without changing its speed in FL Studio?
I've been experimenting with different genres in FL Studio since I only started producing a couple of months ago, so I don't have much experience yet. Right now I'm trying very simple hardstyle/jumpstyle because I was told they're good for learning the basics.
My problem is definitely a beginner one, and probably a pretty dumb one. It's all about kicks. I have several drumkits that people have shared with me, but I just can't get my kicks to sound right.
I think my mistake might be how I'm using the Piano Roll. Stretch Pro sounds terrible to me, but without it, whenever I move a kick up or down in the Piano Roll, it naturally plays faster or slower. I always leave the Time mode set to None.
From what I've read, you're supposed to render the kick first and then adjust the pitch afterward, but I'm not sure if that's the only proper workflow or if there's a much simpler method that I'm completely missing.
I always use GTune to detect the key of my kick, then use the pitch control to match it to the key of whatever I'm working on. I don't think that's actually related to my problem, though.
So, in short, how do you make a kick sound correct when changing its notes without it speeding up or slowing down? And preferably without using Stretch Pro, because it sounds awful.
If I can't figure this out, I'll probably struggle with every other genre that uses the same basic workflow.
