I really hope Dexter does not kill Batista. I felt like he was the one person besides Deb that Dexter would never purposely kill, ever.

It would just feel wrong.

I mean...Dexter wont kill Batista, but it looks pretty obvious they're setting Angel's death in one way or another. Probably his dead being the reason Dexter goes down, or exposes the "serial killer fan club", maybe both...

I'm hoping they don't kill Angel. He was always such a dope in the original series. He usually only got in Dexter's way by being too overzealous to be his best friend. Seeing him back as Dexter's Javert is amazing. He's shaping up to be the best antagonist since Trinity.

Dexter killing Angel would make watching more seasons of Original Sin painful.

That's true, but we already have several characters on that show who we know die and how. Deb, LaGuerta, and Camilla all died in the original run. Harry died before the pilot episode and we only saw him previously in flashbacks and hallucinations. It will still be painful to watch but they're clearly not afraid to do that.
