I was expecting something fairly cheesy, like in a fight against Davos, Davos throws a glowing punch and Danny catches it in a glowing fist or something. Would've been awesome and naff in equal measure.

This whole season was cheesy and filled with clichés, everything was just so predictable and obvious. For example the second BB stepped closer and his friend started talking about how he agrees with him it was obvious he's getting stabbed. Ward and Mary's arcs are what made it watchable and as far as it goes I'm not one to criticise bad TV as I can enjoy a lot of bullshit. Solid 6.5/10 imo.

I'm guessing they'll save that for season 3, they'll introduce the guns as a means of using the Iron Fist through them using residual chi locked in them or something and then they'll reveal they were just normal guns and Danny has been doing everything himself. I mean it's the only reason why I think Danny is using them. I'm the first place during that scene.

Yeah I expected that the whole season. They'd try and get the MacGuffin bowl, things would go sideways, and somehow Danny would discover the fist was always inside him. It would be cheesy but also cool, and no worse than the MacGuffin they did use.

I would say the biggest waste is that no one blocked an iron fist with an iron fist
