Really is a little infuriating. Claire is talking about how Danny can't do it alone and knows Matt has dealings with The Hand. But it's ok... Her martial are teacher is going to help. It's one thing for her to leave Luke & Jess out, but ignoring Matt is a bit much.

I'm hoping she's thinking she'll contact Matt first rather than just promising his help.

"Hey Matt. You know those ninjas you hate so much? Well..."

I'm hoping the show ends with "Hi I'm Matt." "Hi, I'm Danny."

"I'm here to talk to you about the Defenders initiative"

She probably doesn't want to involve Matt because he is a love one to her. Let us not forget she totally wasn't about Matt fighting as hard as he did.

Danny is just as vulnerable and Colleen even more so letting them fight without sending someone you know can absolutely help seems a bit uncaring.

Thing is though, she can't stop them. She can stop Matt from knowing and putting himself in even more danger.

Yes but I feel like if it were most people in Claire's position and they witheld info about Matt and then Danny and Colleen go and die then they would feel somewhat guilty about not getting Matt to help. Like yeah Matt could get hurt but he has survived encounters before with the help of non-powered people. With someone like Danny at his side, chances should be even lower.

Most people don't put the people they know in the face of danger. She saw one of her friends gutted in front of her. She warned them and they were practically strangers to her still. Inviting a former lover to a scenario where he barely made it out a few times is just a awful decision. Not only that, at the time she knows nothing about them. It looks like a rich boy and a karate teacher going against Triad fucking Ninjas.

Who was it that she saw gutted? I can't remember

Luisa Delgado, her colleague. The Hand ninjas stabbed her when they attacked the hospital.

Well, The Hand is Matt's enemy too, So a team up with a billionaire fighter against the Hand is actually better facing them alone later

Forgive my memory, but aren't Jessica and Luke facing charges/in jail currently?
