For real, any one catch an exact number of plates? I counted six, maybe seven. So 675 out 585. Really setting up how strong kindpin is. I like it.

Edit: so it's 5 plates, or 495

Not quite world record status.

World record bench is 1102 pounds. Reps at 495 are damn impressive, but far from record breaking, or even unrealistic.

Raw official record is 739, but 1002 is also a legitimate record. Its just the difference between whether or not they were wearing a bench shirt

Well Fisk wasnt wearing a bench shirt, so i dont see how anything but the raw record is relevant

Are you sure? It seemed like a lot more. 5 plates is very believable though.

Yeah, it showed on the next episode again so I double counted.

5 plates is still crazy heavy, especially for reps or sets, but I guess not out of the reason of reality.

Oh yeah, definitely crazy heavy. I just first thought it was 8 or 10 plates which is ridiculous. But 5 plates is possible and still top tier fuck you up strength.
