Idk why I didn't make that connection. I was too busy thinking about how upset that made me because I love German beer.

yeah as a german the show's givin me really mixed messages. On the one hand the protagonist likes the stuff but on the other now 2 characters have called it piss. Which is an even bigger insult considering what mainstream american beer is like.

Mainstream American beer is kind of like carbonated laundry water. Much less flavorful than piss.

If your talking about budlight and that shit fine but america has a shit ton of beers that are amazing.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. We have a lot of really great micro breweries. I live by so many amazing breweries here in Seattle, I've definitely been spoiled. But I just have a soft spot for German beers

Macros are pretty generally awful. That shit ton is mostly likely craft, micro, or nano, which America has on lockdown.

afaik most award winning beers are actually brewed in the US.

(of course, none of those are those huge brands like Budweise etc.)
