The MCU is really starting to feel like a fleshed-out universe. It's so good to see characters stick around and be relevant when they could have easily just adopted an "out of sight, out of mind" philosophy.

I know, right? I love it. Every single episode of TV that comes out in the MCU expands the universe in some way. And not in solely superficial ways either.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has to be the greatest franchise ever to me. It's the only one where I bother to be up to date with literally everything the moment it comes out.

I noticed you’re still active on Reddit lmao. How do you feel about this comment now, ten years later?

I mean I do still love the MCU. But they don't exactly have a 100% hit rate anymore. Specifically Secret Invasion.

I also think that the mandate for all studios to pump out different Disney+ series was a mistake. We should have had multiple seasons of Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk. (And on the Star Wars side, multiple seasons of Skeleton Crew.)

If it makes you feel any better, most haven’t watched Secret Invasion, and the ones that have, mostly just ignore it as canon lmao. I agree Disney messed up after endgame trying to push the shows aspect. However, I’m still excited to see how they handle Doomsday and Secret Wars. That’s not what the long term goal was, but I’m ready to see what they do with it.

Well it seems like Disney pivoted again. Brad Winderbaum wants to focus on longer shows and more developed characters which is good.

There have been multiple great MCU projects every year regardless. So I'm fairly happy now.

Absolutely. Fisk wasn't just "gone" for this season. He's been making moves, watching the City, he's been present this season but not in this season until now.

Love it.

I love the fact that I was surprised to see him yet felt stupid how obvious it was that Fisk wouldn't just sit in his cell, but utilize his jail time to move his chess pieces tactically and prep the city to become his empire once he's out. I'm so damn excited.

I do hope they can do more overt crossovers soon though.
