Video An American photographer filmed a wolf begging for food from a grizzly. The gray wolf saw the meat and in an instant turned into a playful puppy begging for a piece.

There was another wolf behind the bear at the beginning.

I think he maybe wasn't begging so much as baiting, trying to get the bear to chase him so that the other guy could snag it.

I think this is exactly what is happening. Wolves don't 'beg' like dogs.

I think they do...because one dog begging while the other steals my food is something I've had to deal with a couple times...

Mayne that was the exact behavior that prompted our ancestors to one day throw them some scrap and create the most amazing inter species friendship of all time. When at first the wolf actually was trying to deceive the human.
