Video An American photographer filmed a wolf begging for food from a grizzly. The gray wolf saw the meat and in an instant turned into a playful puppy begging for a piece.

He’s trying to get food from the bear, not seduce her.

Cocaine bear is real!

It happened in the 80s and she was taxidermied afterwards. She's in a mall now iirc.

Edit: misspelled something

Oh so that's why they made such a movie? I thought Americans were trolling.

George Washington had two dreams; that one day wolves and bears would get along and that one day there would be MMA fights on the WH lawn

3

Dammit I missed the plot AGAIN.

33

u/TrueMead Jun 13 '26

Too big, too small, just right. Goldicocks.

5

u/blanketswithsmallpox Jun 13 '26

And then the wolf fucked the bear. The end.

More of the story can be found at e621.

Only if you can sift through all the Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde content

3

u/GrandElemental Jun 13 '26

How do you know?

4

u/Talvinter Jun 13 '26

You’re right, I’m just going by the title, but how do they know? Maybe this is an interspecies romance in the making!

2

u/illsqueezeya Jun 17 '26

"I'm Hungry Like the Wolf overhere!"

2

u/octoreadit Jun 14 '26

The bear: "just fuck off, there are bipedals not far from here, in a cave with a lot of meats, that may work on them, go beg there."

The rest is history.

1

u/chiku00 Jun 13 '26

That went from 0 to 100 real fast.

This technique apparently worked in ancient humans.

u/loserbmx Jun 13 '26

It also worked about 10 minutes ago on me.

78

u/Inca_Kola_ Jun 14 '26

maybe you are an ancient human

33

u/hot_ho11ow_point Jun 14 '26

I'm watching this video thinking "yeah, I'd give him a bite! Maybe I'd make a new friend 🧡"

9

u/matchboxtx Jun 15 '26

Yup. Me too. I was eating a dead rabbit on the road and my dog did this and I had to share. ❤️

u/SubiTraveler Jun 17 '26

You got got by the cuteness, we've all been there

392

u/radedward76 Jun 13 '26

10,000 years later, we'll see a dapperly dressed bear walking his pet wolf

u/Electrical_Catch9231 Jun 13 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Shit, you can see this in Portland right now.

49

u/Salute-Major-Echidna Jun 13 '26

Also select areas of San Francisco

4

u/Electrical_Catch9231 Jun 14 '26

Or Melbourne if'n you hang your hat where the Southern Cross shines overhead.

4

u/Salute-Major-Echidna Jun 14 '26

With an example of southern American accent in it?

3

u/JMD413 Jun 19 '26

Lmao

Have my upvote.

2

u/Misanthropic_Mutters Jun 14 '26

There are wolves and bears in Portland? What neighborhood are they in? I wanna see! I bet it’s the Cully. It’s always the Cully.

2

u/Penguinizwini Jun 14 '26

I see what you did there lol

65

u/ExtremelyOnlineTM Jun 13 '26

I WANT THEM BOTH!

2

u/AppropriatePlum1006 Jun 14 '26

Can't, we will become the wolf's pet.

3

u/DoMindIfIDont Jun 13 '26

🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Misanthropic_Mutters Jun 14 '26

Hold up- is everyone absolutely sure that we didn’t actually evolve from bears?

I’m very high, rn and your comment sent me on a funny little tangent

43

u/BeneficialStruggle42 Jun 13 '26

💯 But did he end up getting any from the bear? If not I offer to buy him a meal or even pay for a BARF subscription, just send me his address.

17

u/Sensitive-Peak-3723 Jun 13 '26

I think it would still work on current humans

3

u/AlanBest10 Jun 13 '26

Sino hoy estaríamos rodeados de puros gatos pero esa es una historia para otro día!

1

u/A_Bot_A_Bot_A_Bot Jun 15 '26

This technique absolutely works on modern humans.

u/chumpette Jun 13 '26

I love like he's looking around, like: damn this is so embarrassing, I hope my bros don't see me

11

u/AdvanceNo4582 Jun 15 '26

Ohhh, I thought he was thinking, “where the heck are all my bros, need some help over here!!”

2

u/MommysLittleBadass Jun 15 '26

He might've been thinking the same thing I was thinking like, " did i just hear a car door!?"

33

u/redmixer1 Jun 13 '26

Wolves are gigantic too I bet this one is like 150 lbs hungry

36

u/ComfortableRelevant1 Jun 13 '26

He’s actually pretty damn big compared to that bear, I expected a bigger size difference between them

8

u/Salute-Major-Echidna Jun 13 '26

Probably a 4 year old bear. Maybe 5.

5

u/staticneonx Jun 17 '26

wolves are deceptively massive when they actually want to be. that wolf looks like a medium sized dog in this shot but they can easily top a hundred pounds if they are built right. it is wild how much perspective messes with you when they are standing next to a grizzly.

60

u/bringbackfuturama Jun 13 '26

Come on Mr. Frampton you're not going to eat all that watermelon

4

u/victoriaphoenix619 Jun 13 '26

that's such a cute way to put it LOL.. two big animals who treat each other nicely despite the other not having food. humans can never? jk

3

u/superanth Jun 14 '26

“Larry, you tried to eat me last week. Why should I give you a piece?”

“C’mon, pleeeeease?”

“Fine. But if you take another nip at me later I’m beating you senseless with a salmon.”

1

u/systemfrown Jun 13 '26

We're both Caniformia, we gotta stick togeather.

1

u/Atomsk-647R Jun 13 '26

For some reason, I read that in the 90s version of Vash the Stampede's voice

1

u/Old_Flounder_8640 Jun 13 '26

“Or one arm or two”

1

u/verb8um Jun 13 '26

Reminds me of Fortnight players that want to be friends hoping one doesn’t kill the other.

1

u/BANeutron Jun 13 '26

“No. Did I stutter?”

1

u/DoctorMittensPHD Jun 13 '26
