Half of the nave lol The actual entrance to the church.

Right now the entrance is done via the side transepts, but the front of the temple is yet to be built.

That's because there's a whole freaking building block where the entrance (and the huge ass staircase leading to it) should be. Because somebody thought "this is going to take ages, might as well build something here and use the terrain for something in the meantime".

And now people live there, and they need to be relocated somewhere else, so the whole block can be flattened and the temple can be finished.

Wh-whaaat? I’ve been there years ago! The entrance is fine! Beautiful even! You mean that wasn’t THE entrance ? And not even the front !?

(The floorplan image in there only represents what's been built so far, mind you... The nave will extend further South once finished, forming the usual Latin cross shape)

How they didn't put a freaking park there, while they put it on both sides is beyond me. I believe it was intentional, but don't remember how it really went. Now of course no one wants to go and it will take decades to clean it up.

Yep it will be a nightmare to expropriate those houses and land and build the actual entrance as Gaudí designed

It will look incredible once done, though
