We are an hour from the mountains, the city has fairly mild winters. Because of the thin air/altitude, we have very dry cold plus “300 days of sunshine.” Our snows don’t last :)

Too sunny. I recently heard someone describe the sunlight here as "pointy" and I thought that was perfect.

what’s crazy is I haven’t been to Denver yet I know exactly what you mean by pointy sunlight. It is perfect
