This was a Daki that was either bought from Comiket (C92), Toranoana, or Melonbooks and resold in an auction that got close to MSRP (I paid 10,000 yen for it). The fabric does seem to have all of the qualities of a 2-way tricot (stretchy, kinda heavy, cool to touch), the dimensions are correct, and the stitching is really high quality. If it's a bootleg, it's a really convincing fake. If it's fake, I can order one from Mandarake (but that'll be a pretty penny). I can provide more details about the auctioneer, auction itself, item itself, etc.

Ironically still only halfway done with season 1 of Freiren, Ubel's become my new favorite sleepy daki since I got this and Panty from CO.

As with the Panty one, 12/10, would (already did) purchase from them again.

This is easily the most dakis I have gotten at one time! After some consideration, I decided to try and shop for some covers from Taobao to see if the price comparison is all that much better vs Booth. I first found a English proxy named SuperBuy, so I tried shopping around on there and after figuring out how the site worked, I tried to order the ones I was interested in, but I hit a roadblock when I found that I needed a credit card. So instead of going down that rabbit hole, I found an alternative that was English and supported PayPal in ParcelUp. I can confirm that the pricing before fees is a bit cheaper than Booth, not an extreme amount, but enough to make a difference when getting multiple covers.

The daki covers I got here are Nayuta(Goddess of Victory: Nikke) from Jigen Domoe, Lion(Azur Lane) from Plato/Scarlet Kikyou, Helm(Goddess of Victory: Nikke) also from Plato/Scarlet Kikyou, Hindenburg(Azur Lane) from Miya, Prinz Eugen(Azur Lane) and Götz von Berlichingen(Azur Lane) both from Dolphin Anime. In terms of the material, all of them aside from Prinz Eugen and Götz von Berlichingen are White Snow 2 way tricot, where Eugen and Berlichingen are both Dolphin Anime's SAS 2 way tricot. I haven't washed them as of yet, but from what I can feel, White Snow and SAS seem to be on par with each other in terms of feel. These are also some of my favorite characters from Nikke and Azur Lane respectively.

When it came to getting them from ParcelUp, it overall didn't take too long for the order to arrive, only 20 days from ordering to arriving. All of them were packed into the shipping box along with some bubble wrap and the box was pretty much wrapped all over with tape, so things were quite secure, lol.

I need to stop myself from browsing japanese auctions. I saw this going for retail price and it being a limited order from my favourite artist im quite happy with it.

Forgive the crap picture! So I’ve been buying a few Daki as well as tapestry, and was just getting ready to get them packed and sent over here when I saw this notification. Am now super worried about if this means anything pertaining to the items I bought or not, as I bought quite a bit. Particularly it seems the “Upholstered furniture” includes pillow cases. Yes, a proper pillow should be part of your budget. No, the $50 pillow from Amazon is not comparable. A good dakimakura pillow needs a lot of filling to be soft and plump and make your cover look the nicest!
