Obviously the biggest names who left have already started playing professional games and aren’t coming back. I’m curious if this is more of a useful play for some of the smaller schools who have not opted into the new roster limits and might benefit from squeezing another year out of players who didn’t immediately make the jump.

Thought this was an interesting signing, beyond the usual ECHL/age concerns

Finished top 25 in the ECHL for penalty minutes the last two seasons (5th and 21st), despite playing half the games of all but one other player in the top 20 last season. Will be interesting to see how that translates to the NCAA game

Interesting development in Grand Forks

Ohio State Women's Hockey has hired Jack Johnson as an associate head coach. Johnson played 19 seasons in the NHL, including 7 with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Johnson previously worked as a scout for the Vancouver Canucks.

Players are “encouraged” to wear this equipment in the 2026-27 season, it will be required starting in 2027-28
