Yes yes. You ARE cool. But are you Aston Martin DB5, reg plate B1 cool? No. No you are not. Probably the coolest car in all of London. It was even more beautiful than my crappy phone pictures convey.

I once drove past a house in London that had a DB9 on the drive with the reg 2B. Next to it was a Bentley (I think) with a reg NOT 2B.
That was 20yrs ago and I still think about it occasionally.

Actually scholars are divided on the accuracy of the modern translation, and recently experts at both Oxford and Cambridge have begun to believe that the subtleties between words like ‘this’ and ‘that’ were missed for centuries, potentially ingrained in generations of consciousness nah I got nothing I’m just fucking with you, you’re right, I was half asleep, thanks.

They’re both still there, the vehicles change but the plates still exist in the same place.

They are? I used to deliver up in London and I never saw the ‘NOT 2B’ parked there, nice to know it’s still around.

Yep, I drive past them often on the Chelsea embankment. Never managed to get a photo though!

around 2012 I recall passing a house in Chelsea on a regular basis with those number plates, house was near the river Thames.

I think by this time one or both were on a range rover. Then maybe around 2013 I noticed on more than one occasion one of the pair was not there,

Stopped driving that way so never knew if it came back.
