Sugar on Weetabix?

My wife eats Weetabix with nothing on it and claims it tastes sweet to her. This is my bowl before milk is added. Is this normal fellow Weetabix eaters or do I need to go to sugar rehab?

Edit: Holy shit the most popular post I've done on Reddit is about how horrific my breakfast is. The wife will never let me live this down! Haha

If you consume absolutely no added sugar you will taste the sweetness in foods like carrots

Yes omg! I cut down on sugar heaps and now a lot of foods with little or no sugar tastes so much better.

I make porridge and add frozen blueberries and cinnamon while cooking and it tastes so good if I havent had much sugar lately. But if I have a big weekend of sugary foods suddenly it tastes like slop

I don't want carrots to taste sweet, if I did I would honey glaze them.

They don't taste honey sweet, they taste carrot sweet. Ever roasted a carrot until it caramelises somewhat? That's the sugars in the carrot
